Briefly in English

Finnish Disc Golf Association (FDGA, in Finnish: Suomen frisbeegolfliitto) is the Finnish association for disc golf. The goal of FDGA and its operation is to promote disc golf as a hobby and and organize disc golf activities in Finland together with its approximately 150 member organizations.

What is disc golf?

Disc Golf (in Finnish: frisbeegolf) is a flying disc sport in which player’s goal is to throw a disc to a target. The rules are very similar to golf. Player starts to complete a hole on course by throwing a disc from tee area towards the target. Player throws again from the landing spot of the disc, until the final target is reached. The goal is to complete each hole on course in the lowest number of total throws. The courses often consist of 9 or 18 holes.
